    Celebrated birthday lunch at Hortas recently, group of 15 including two young children. Great venue, fantastic location, eclectic menu,, high quality product and presentation. First class service from all staff, special mention to our table host Danny. Happy to pay a little extra if it's justified. Thumbs up

    Food is below average. Like way below. We ordered dip and pork ribs for entree both are terrible. Chicken breast and prawns and fish skewers for main and a fish and chips for the kids. Chicken dry and without any sauce. Its a chicken breast wrapped with proscuitto and green beans no sauce nothing else. Fish and prawn skewers are overcooked (u dont need a chef to tell u that fish and prawns takes different time in cooking so dont cook prawns and fish on the same skewer). Kids fish and chips was ok. Way overpriced for the quality and technique.
